Strategic Guidance for Producers, Executives, and Creative Talent
Elizabeth Elliott is the Founder and Principal of Elliott Law, a Los Angeles–based transactional law firm devoted to supporting producers and creative artists across all media. She advises clients at every stage of a project, from development and financing through production, distribution, and delivery, helping bring ambitious ideas to life while navigating complex legal and business landscapes.
With nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of creativity and business, Elizabeth combines deep industry knowledge with business-minded legal affairs guidance. Before founding Elliott Law, she served as Executive Vice President and Head of Business and Legal Affairs at Village Roadshow Entertainment Group, Business & Legal Affairs Senior Counsel at Netflix, and Senior Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs at Lionsgate.
Prior to her studio experience, she represented independent producers, so she understands the challenges and opportunities both studio and independent producers face.
Before entering the legal profession, Elizabeth worked in talent and modeling industries in New York, as an agent and manager. Her early career in talent representation enables her to additionally represent creative artists, including above and below the line talent. She understands both the producer’s goals and the talent’s needs, enabling her to craft deals that work for all parties while protecting her clients’ interests.
She earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where she received the CALI Award in Entertainment Law, and holds a B.F.A. in Directing and Politics from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Elizabeth is admitted to practice in California.
